The Coats for the Cold Outreach is over but the momentum is not!

To everyone that donated sweatshirts, jackets and coats...Thank you!  And to Bryan, Brad, Shane, Natalie, Mckinney, Tyler, Jaime, Chloe, Cory, my pops, and my girlfriend, Emily...Thank you guys for your time, effort and bravery in joining me to visit the less-fortunate on Skid Row.  I could not have done it without you guys! 


So what now?
Amplyfy was a concept in November and December of 2010 that has turned into a clothing line.  The plan of action now is to create AMPLYFY CLOTHING; a line of clothing that will only consist of tee shirts and jackets (for now) that all of you can purchase.  What seperates AMPLYFY CLOTHING from the rest of the clothing lines out there is that I will give a tee shirt to the homeless everytime you purchase a tee shirt and I will give a jacket to the homeless everytime you purchase a jacket.  It's that easy.

I will have a better idea of when this clothing will be available for purchase in a couple weeks.  Till then, I challenge you to step out of your comfort zones and say hello to a stranger that's living on the streets...you'd be surprised where that step will take you.

The Coats for the Cold Outreach//Thursday, January 6th//8:00pm

The "Drop-Off" for The Coats for the Cold Outreach is tomorrow night (Thursday) at 8:00pm!  We will be meeting at my house first to load up the boxes and then head up to Skid Row to hand out the jackets.  Email me at amplyfy@gmail.com if you are interested in joining us  Stay tuned for photos and videos from the event.

The Thongs for the Cold Outreach

  

So I was going through all the bags of jackets you guys gave me to organize it for tomorrow night's drop-off and I stumbled across a bag full of these...a little on the odd side. 

Day 16!

We're now at Day 16 and the donations keep rolling in!  Thanks again Jamie for another bag of jackets! Yew!

Day 10!

 I received another box full of jackets today thanks to a cool cat/friend named Jaime from Seal Beach Cyclery in Seal Beach, CA! 

 Todd Saunders, a good friend of mine made a bunch of stickers to help get the ball rolling for this project.  Thanks Todd!

Day 8!

Day 8//2:00am...I just spent about 4 hours sorting out and packaging up all the jackets, sweatshirts, scarfs, beenies and gloves that you guys donated... check out the photo!  So long I've got 7 boxes in just 8 days...Keep it up!  Feel free to email me at amplyfy@gmail.com to set up a time and place for me to pick-up your donations or for you to drop them off.
